From soft-pressed hillside grapes, 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Nero, vinified in stainless steel vats. Sojourns sur lie for at least 24 months. Shows aromas and flavours of tropical fruit, nuts and hazelnuts, distinctive harmony and appeal.
This Franciacorta shows a brilliant golden yellow and nuances of golden yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of bread crust, yeast and banana followed by aromas of hawthorn, apple, hazelnut, grapefruit, plum, vanilla, butter and mineral. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of grapefruit, plum and apple.
