Sensory profile
Buscaia Malvasia Collecapretta reveals an aromatic bouquet of rare refinement: floral notes of lavender and hawthorn intertwine with mineral hints reminiscent of sea salt and sun-warmed clay. On the palate, it begins with delicate finesse, evolving into a vibrant, sapid character. This unique balance makes it a perfect pairing for delicate dishes, such as vegetables with eggs, white meats, and seafood.
Winemaking process
The production of Buscaia Malvasia Collecapretta follows a completely natural approach, rooted in tradition. The grapes, harvested in early October, are vinified in white in small steel vats. Spontaneous fermentation occurs using native yeasts and lasts about 10 days. With no added sulfites at any stage, the wine undergoes two rackings, aligned with the lunar phases: the first in February and the second in March, before bottling in April.
Sustainable commitment
The Collecapretta winery embraces eco-friendly farming practices, using only sulfur and copper in the vineyards and, in rare cases, enriching the soil with natural fertilizers from the farm’s animals. This philosophy ensures that Buscaia Malvasia Collecapretta maintains a unique identity, truly reflective of its native terroir.

Our cellar, modern and functional, was completely renovated in 1997 and today presents inside: A vinification and storage department where there are stainless steel tanks for fermentation and storage of wines, equipped with devices for temperature regulation and automation of the pumping-over of red wines during fermentation.
