Winemaking:

Our Montefalco Rosso is the result of careful winemaking, respectful of nature. Different varieties are harvested and vinified separately, then blended harmoniously. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by maceration with the skins for 15-20 days. The wine then matures in French oak barrels and oak casks for 12-18 months before further refinement in the bottle for 6 months.

Montefalco Rosso DOC Le Cimate is the perfect companion for convivial moments and special dinners. It pairs beautifully with veal and is also enjoyed on its own, celebrating the beauty of life and friendship. Served at the ideal temperature of 16-18°C, it reveals its complexity and unique character.

– Blend of Sangiovese (60%), indigenous grape varieties (20%), Refosco (10%), and Tannat (10%)
– DOC Denomination – Controlled Designation of Origin
– Limited production to 15,000 bottles, maintaining the authenticity and rarity of the wine
– Aging in French oak barrels and oak casks for 12/18 months, followed by an additional 6 months of bottle aging
