Pinot Bianco Riserva Flowers Von Blumen: grape variety Pinot Bianco (Weissburgunder).

“Flowers” is the name chosen to represent the best selections of Von Blumen’s project. Under “Flowers” range there will be wines that permitted us to select, in particular years and within our vineyards, some small blocks of outstanding vines. Each parcel is vinified separately and has undergone a long and distinct ageing period. Equally different is the label and the bottle shape, in order to create a specific and complementary trait with classic Von Blumen range of wines.

Denomination of origin: Pinot Bianco (Weissburgunder) Alto Adige – Südtirol doc/dop.

Production area: Loc. Pochi di Salorno, Alto Adige.

Harvest: hand-picked in small boxes.

Vinification:

Gently crushed and destemmed, is fermented in 500liter barrels for 10 months with frequently betonnage.

Ageing:

Total or partial malolactic fermentation depending on the development of the vintage.

Color: yellow with different reflexes.

Aroma: delicate hints of apple and white peach, wild flowers and mint.

Flavor: intense on white fruit pulp notes.

Food pairing: excellent with shellfish and also with white meat.

Serving temperature: 8 – 10° C.
