A Story Scented with Must and Tradition

It all began on an evening in 1970. Claudio was only 14 years old when his grandfather Domenico called him for a lesson that would change his life forever:

“Come, Claudio, the time has come to help me make the wine!”

That night, amidst the aromas of the cellar and his grandfather’s ancient gestures, a calling was born. That lesson, more precious than a thousand books, became the cornerstone of our production philosophy.

From Roots to Reality: Il Molino Antico

In 1984, driven by a shared vision, Claudio and his wife Lorella—together with his parents Francesco and Natalia—chose to put down roots in this stunning valley. Sheltered by the Martani Mountains and set against the majestic backdrop of the Sibillini range, they found their home.

Here, a former 17th-century mill was brought back to life, becoming our farmhouse, “Il Molino Antico.” It is within these historic walls that our winery found its first home—a place where time seems to stand still, allowing our wine to age with patience and dedication.

Passion and Determination: Our Fruits

After years of meticulous vineyard care, we celebrated our first vinification in 2005. That milestone turned our hard work into reality, giving life to our signature labels: Soviano Regale (Sangiovese Grosso) and Cruor Nobile (Sagrantino and Merlot)—two prestigious reds that express our roots and our land.
