Grape: 70% sangiovese, 15% sagrantino, 15% merlot

First year of production: 2008
Vineyards: vineyards in Bevagna (Pg) in Vocabolo Arquata at 230m height, exposure South-East on clay-calcareous soil
Description: accurate selection of the excellent Sangiovese grapes together with Sagrantino and Merlot. Ageing in oak barrels for 30 months. This is a structured and persistent wine. The bouquet presents notes of mature fruits and spices.

Harvest: handmade from mid-September until the beginning of October
Vinification: grapes are crushed and de-stemmed, fermentation is made in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature at 28°C. Maceration of 3-4 weeks with pumping over and delestage.
