Grape variety: Schiava 94% with Lagrein 6%
Cultivation area: Steeply southbound hillside, sandy loamy soil on porphyritic rock in Laitach near Bolzano on 350 m eight above sea level
Fermentation: 2 weeks fermentation on the grapes with batonage method, 100% in steel tank fermentation on fine lees
Color: shiny ruby red
Aroma: sour cherry und berry
Body: rich and elegant, fine persistent tannins
Strength: 13,2% vol.
Serving: 13–15°C, suitable with appetizers, fish and meat
