Characteristics:

The ruby red color, delicate and brilliant, announces intriguing aromas of cherries and berries, alternating with touches of pepper and smoky hints. In the mouth it has rare elegance, freshness and fine texture, with a barely noticeable tannic texture, savory and mouthwatering.

Ciliegiolo is a variety that makes it possible to produce wines of great pleasantness; the name describes the main characteristic of the wine’s aroma, namely hints of red fruit, more specifically cherry, complemented by a slightly smoky closing note.

The color, never excessive, is a ruby with delicate garnet reflections very elegant in the glass.

In the mouth it is delicate and very fine, the barely noticeable tannin and a well-present acid thrust give the product great drinkability, and a remarkable ability to pair with various dishes.

Ciliegiolo in purity

Field-selected grapes are vinified at a controlled temperature of 24°C and through the use of selected yeasts, fermentation is slow and steady.
The contact of the skins with the must is ensured by gentle pumping over, which aims to extract all the varietal characteristics of the grapes, helping to outline a typical and unmistakable organoleptic profile.

White meats, first courses and medium-aged cheeses and cured meats.
