Is an exceptional red wine crafted from 100% Sagrantino grapes sourced from two vineyard parcels in the municipalities of Bevagna and Montefalco, in the Umbria region of Italy. The vineyards, meticulously cultivated, are situated at an elevation of 250 m above sea level on clay-limestone soil and 360 m above sea level on clay-sandy limestone soil, imparting unique and distinctive characteristics to the wine.
Features:
Color: Dark ruby red.
Aroma: Initial notes of sour cherries, blackberries, and plums, followed by enticing hints of graphite, licorice, juniper berries, and aromatic herbs.
Taste: Tannins and freshness are harmoniously balanced with alcohol and sugars, creating a well-rounded sensory experience.
Aging: Aged in wood for a minimum of 2 years, followed by an additional 2 years in the bottle, this wine is designed to age gracefully for over 10 years.

Production Method:
Harvest: Manual harvesting in the first half of October ensures optimal grape ripeness.
Vinification: After destemming, maceration and fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature at 28°C for 21-24 days, including daily pumping-over and délestage.
Aging: The wine undergoes a 30-month aging process in oak barrels (30 Hl) and tonneaux, followed by an additional 24 months of refinement in the bottle to develop complexity and depth.
